Miftah Ismail chides govt, terms SBP 'State Bank of IMF'

The public authority is "totally dependent" on the IMF for its strategies, Miftah Ismail says

KARACHI: After the PTI-drove government revealed the SBP Amendment Bill in the National Assembly yesterday, the State Bank of Pakistan has "presently become the State Bank of IMF", PML-N pioneer and previous money serve Miftah Ismail said Friday.


 Miftah, tending to a public interview close by PML-N pioneer Musaddik Malik, said the public authority is "totally dependent" on the worldwide cash loan specialist for its approaches.
