Murree tragedy: Punjab Highway Department shifts blame onto traffic police

LAHORE: The Punjab Highway Department (PHD) held traffic police and the locale organization answerable for the Murree misfortune wherein 23 sightseers lost their lives on January 7.

The agents missed the cutoff time to present their report and have looked for five additional days to finish their test, sources said.


Citing the individuals from the test board, the sources had added: "The authorities of the concerned region and Punjab secretariat are not approaching the issue in a serious way."
